Recipe of the Month
Grilled Mahi Mahi with Oriental Grilling Sauce
Serves 4
Ingredients:
4 Mahi Mahi fillets, 6 oz. each
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 Tablespoon olive oil
Oriental Grilling Sauce:
1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 Green onions, sliced white part only
1 Cup soy sauce
½ Cup light brown sugar
½ Tablespoon sesame oil
Directions:
Make the grilling sauce by heating a medium size sauce pot over medium heat for one minute. Add the oil and onions and sauté for 1 minute. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 2 minutes. Reserve half for dipping.
Heat your grill on high for 10 minutes. Season the mahi mahi filets with salt and pepper and grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until just done. Brush with the prepared grilling sauce for the last minute of cooking. Serve with the reserved sauce for dipping.
